This Privacy Policy explains how Digikray ("SehVarta", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your personal information when you use the SehVarta Platform. It is designed to be consistent with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), profile photo, business/occupation category.
  • Verification information: OTP verification records, and (where you request a withdrawal) KYC/bank or UPI details necessary to process payouts.
  • Usage & activity information: posts, comments, chat messages and attachments, Reels/videos watched, likes/reactions, referral activity, wallet transactions, device type, IP address, and approximate location (for fraud prevention and content relevance).
  • Device & technical information: browser/app type, device identifiers, log data, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and secure your account, verify your identity via OTP, and prevent fraud/duplicate accounts.
  • To operate social features (feed, chat, Reels, community pages) and personalise what you see.
  • To calculate, credit and pay out reward points, referral bonuses and wallet withdrawals.
  • To communicate with you — OTPs, transaction confirmations, registration agreements, and important account or policy updates.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, click-farming, and violations of our Terms.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from government or law-enforcement authorities.

3. Chat Messages & Media

Messages, voice notes, images and videos you send in chat are stored securely to deliver the chat feature (including "delete for everyone" and message history) and are only accessible to the participants of that conversation and, where legally required, to SehVarta for safety/moderation and legal-compliance purposes.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with: (a) payment/payout partners strictly to process withdrawals; (b) SMS/WhatsApp/Email providers strictly to deliver OTPs and notifications; (c) law-enforcement or regulators where legally required; (d) service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. Content you choose to post publicly (feed posts, Reels, public profile) is visible to other users as intended by the feature.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting, tax and fraud-prevention obligations (including wallet/withdrawal records, which may be retained longer for financial compliance). 6. Your Rights

  • Access and review the personal information in your profile at any time from your account settings.
  • Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to the exceptions described in our Account Deletion Policy.
  • Withdraw consent for optional communications (e.g. promotional messages), where applicable.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures — password hashing, OTP-based verification, and access controls — to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and you should never share your password or OTP with anyone.

8. Children's Privacy

SehVarta is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
